Day In The Life of Top Model Taylor Hill During Fashion Week
Have you ever wondered how a model gets runway ready? If so, here’s the real day in the life of Taylor Hill during Fashion Week.
Starting off Hill’s day at 7:20 AM she wakes up and brushes her teeth, the average persons morning routine. Making sure to have coffee with her, Hill leaves for her first show at 11:15 AM. She will be walking at Zimmerman Show. By 11:56 AM her full look is complete and she’s ready to hit the runway.
By 2:30 PM Hill just finished walking for Zadegan Voltaire. After the show she visits with a few fellow models then its time for Hill to hit her next destination. It’s 3:34 PM by the time she makes it through paparazzi and arrives at her next destination. Which is surprisingly not another show, it’s food! Hill chose to bring pizza backstage for everyone before their next show. 4:11 PM roles around and the backstage chaos is in process. The wardrobe, hair, makeup team is all in action preparing the models to hit the runway on time. “Sometimes during fashion week we arrive anywhere from 45 mins to an hour before the show. They get ready without seeing the runway or getting to rehearse.” Hill told
Vogue interviewers. But, for this show the models will be pulled for rehearsal before the show at 5:30 PM. Hill and the rest of the models playful hangout backstage waiting for show time to roll around. 6:59 PM hits and the music begins. It’s time for Hill to hit the runway her 3rd time today. After their finished Hill celebrates, takes pictures, and happily hangs out backstage with everyone. After Hill’s long day of shows she finally gets to go back to her hotel and enjoy the rest of her night to herself.
