  1. The Terrifying Catwalk

Alexander McQueen’s spring 2000 collection held a catwalk shocking the crowd. The catwalk was turned into a metal bed of spikes and nails. The models where lifted above the stage floating swiftly in McQueen’s designs. The mesmerized audience sure to never forget the unique but terrifying show they watched.

2. The Vertical Catwalk

The vertical fashion show held down the side of The Revere Hotel was certainly one to remember. Models walked down the side of the hotel with help of straps preventing them from dropping hundreds of feet below to the ground where the shocked audience sat to observe this breath-taking show. After the models finished their terrifying walk everyone was shocked none of the models got sick walking off the edge of a building. After this catwalk similar shows have been held in Dubai and at New York's Rockefeller Center.

3. Hamster Spinning Wheels Catwalk

Henrik Vibskov is a designer who isn't recognized for his designs. Instead, he’s recognized for his wacky mind-blowing shows. Vibskov blew away the audience with his fall 2009 collection during Copenhagen Fashion Week on a rather unique catwalk. The models strut in high-heels on black-and-white striped, life-size spinning hamster wheels. To no one’s surprise, a few models even fell off the spinning wheel catwalks when they couldn’t keep up with the pace.

4. Posing In a Ring of Fire

McQueen’s Fall/Winter 1998 collection models walked down a runway under low-hanging manically swinging lamps. If that wasn't enough, for the finale a model in a red lace dress/superhero-costume, face covered, struck her pose standing in a ring of fire.

5. Showering In Front of an Audience

In Chalayans Spring/Summer 2016 collection two models stood on raised platforms as other models sauntered by. Both models wore light white jackets that were understated but chic at the same time. At the 2:25 mark, the showers above their heads turned on. The audience’s jaws dropped as the jackets slowly dissolved, revealing their stylish dresses hidden beneath.
